Professional Goals

I am committed to empowering vulnerable populations and addressing the structural violence within their stories.

I will be completing my practicum at Elevate Addiction Services (EAS), a substance use treatment facility in Santa Cruz County, CA. Here I will learn, develop, and foster skills that align with the core competencies established by the Council on Social Work Education. I wish to learn and understand how EAS impacts the community on a systemic level and study the efficacy of their program. I want to use this as an opportunity to connect with the community being served and to develop and professionalize my skills as a helper.
